Australia: two international students killed in car accidents

Sadly, I am writing again about accidents in which international students have lost their lives.

Within the space of two weeks, two international students at Charles Darwin University in Australia’s Northern Territory were killed in separate car accidents.

Emmanuel Oluwaseyi Ajadi, 26, from Nigeria was studying a masters of environmental management. He died on 16 June when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and hit an oncoming utility head-on.

On 25 June, Ifran Munna from Bangladesh, who was pursuing a bachelor of information technology, was killed in a horrific three car pile up.  He was leading a convoy of three cars carrying nine CDU international students on a weekend trip when he lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. The car burst into flames resulting in the death of him and another passenger.

Charles Darwin University issued a statement about the two tragic deaths on Facebook earlier this week.
